User reviews of Utah home warranty companies

  • Submitted By George Hunter, Richfield, Total Protect

It’s interesting they’re called Total Protect, since they cover practically nothing. Called them two or three times and every time they claimed by repair wasn’t included in the contract. I give up.

  • Submitted By Carrie Warren, Duchesne, AHS

Ever since I got divorced, I’ve been looking for a good repairman, but it’s so hard! Usually, they overcharge and don’t even do what they’re paid for. My cousin who is in the same situation as I am (no man around the house) recommended AHS. I didn’t know repairmen can be this nice! Plus, they are always on time and don’t leave any mess behind. It’s a true blessing!

  • Submitted By Joe Webb, Ogden, Warranty Direct

I don’t have a problem with Warranty Direct in general, but they should really be more thorough when choosing their contractors. The first guy they sent over to fix our fridge was a real professional. He came to our place right on time, didn’t mind spending two hours fixing it and gave us some nice maintenance tips. The other guy who was supposed to fix our dishwasher didn’t show up until we phoned for the third time, had a bit of an attitude and refused to fix it without even looking at it properly. What’s up with that?
