User reviews of Pennsylvania home warranty companies

  • Submitted By Joshua Doyle, Lancaster, 365 Home Warranty

We’ve been with 365 for four years now and we don’t plan on looking for a new company anytime soon. There’s six of us, so it’s no wonder our clothes machine keeps breaking down. Fortunately, we have 365. They always send us the same technician, he’s our neighbor so we really don’t have to wait long for help.

  • Submitted By Patrick Milford, Pittsburgh, AHS

AHS is a fine company, if you ask me. The technicians are great, they’re always on time and don’t miss appointments. It happened once that my claim was denied, but it was after the technician checked the clothes washer and it really was justified. It turns out my nephew tried to wash his toy cars and one of the toys made a mess inside the washer. It’s not really wear and tear, I admit.

  • Submitted By Burney Davidson, Philadelphia, TotalProtect

Total Protect is the worst. I can’t schedule an appointment because they work from 9 to 5, the same as other people work! Every time I call, they apologize, say it was simply a misunderstanding and that they’ll send someone ASAP. And then this happens all over again! I wait for a week, nobody comes, I call again and it starts from the beginning!

  • Submitted By Larissa Maddox, Eire, First American

The only positive thing I can say about First American – good technicians. Everything else – disaster! According to them nothing that breaks in my house is covered!
