User reviews of Oregon home warranty companies

  • Submitted By Cindy Lawrence, Salem, First American

When I bought a warranty from First American, I really had high hopes. However, it seems that this is just another way of making a profit without providing great service. They fixed one of my appliances, but it took them ages to do it. The other two claims I filed got denied instantly.

  • Submitted By Joseph Burge, Portland, Choice Home Warranty

I’m pretty content with Choice, I must say. They’ve never refused to repair or replace something in the past three years. It’s sometimes difficult to get the customer support, but it must be because they’re very busy.

I’m disappointed with totalprotect! This company took my money, promised great coverage and competent technicians, but all I got was refusal and impoliteness!
