User reviews of North Carolina home warranty companies

  • Submitted By Devon Thornton, Durham, TotalProtect

I’ve only had good experiences with total protect. They were nice before I signed the contract, which was expected, and they have remained nice ever since. I do have to admit that I called them only once, but I was pleasantly surprised with their efficiency. The only thing they could improve is the response times. I know they’re busy and all, but I’d still prefer if they answered claims within 24h max!

  • Submitted By Wanda Webb, Charlotte, First American

First American has its ups and downs. I got really angry when they refused to fix my cooktop because the broken part wasn’t covered, I can’t remember what the name was. On the other hand, they took care of my electrical system in less than a day, which is why I might even consider renewing my contract.

I don’t like a single thing about this company, except the customer support girls. They are really, really nice, too bad they’re working for scammers.
