User reviews of New Jersey home warranty companies

  • Submitted By Antony Delgado, Hoboken, AHS

I wasn’t convinced that these companies really cover your appliances for simple wear and tear, but my wife insisted and I signed the contract. Months passed before anything happened and I started to think that we wasted money. But nine months after the start date, our AC broke. We called the guys from AHS and a technician came the next day. He found the problem and fixed it in less than an hour. I was so happy that I took my wife out for dinner, I wanted to treat her for making such a good call.

  • Submitted By Iris McDowell, Atlantic City, 365 Home Warranty

I decided to get a home warranty when I got divorced because I can’t fix a doorknob, not to mention a refrigerator. I was so delighted when a female technician came to fix my clothes washer! It’s so refreshing to see such an open-minded company!

  • Submitted By Kory Thompson, Newark, TotalProtect

This is a total scam! Total didn’t repair a thing in my house and I called them three times! They just say it’s not covered…

  • Submitted By Glenn Donald, Jersey City, Square Trade

Square trade is such an unreliable company. They tell you one thing, then do something completely different.
