User reviews of Montana home warranty companies

  • Submitted By Brenda Collins, Kalispell, TotalProtect

Total Protect has been my family’s home warranty provider for five years now. We needed their help a few times in the previous months and they really saved us a lot of money and trouble. For example, when our plumbing failed, the whole place was flooded. We called Total and a plumber arrived an hour later. He found the leakage and fixed it in 15 minutes. We spent five more hours getting rid of the water in the house and the man stayed to help us. I mean, this clearly wasn’t his job but he still had no intention of leaving us to deal with this alone. We also called them for our AC, dishwasher, and clothes dryer. They fixed the problem with ease every single time. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a good warranty company.

AHS failed to meet my expectations, but I’m a bit of a nitpicker myself, I have to admit. I have my own so-called five-month trial period and if a service provider or company doesn’t meet my needs, I cancel the agreement. During those five months with AHS, they made me wait many times, sent me an incompetent technician and even denied my claim once. I obviously canceled the agreement.

  • Submitted By April Chapman, Helena, 365 Home Warranty

365 is…neither here nor there. They provided great service a few times, taking care of my stove and dryer in less than 2 days. Other times, I spent hours on the phone waiting for someone to help me. I didn’t renew my contract after it expired.

They don’t deserve to call themselves a real home warranty provider! Everything they say is a lie! 24/7 support service?! Yeah right. Avoid this company like the plague, seriously!
