User reviews of Idaho home warranty companies

  • Submitted By Mary Hodgkins, Twin Falls, Choice Home Warranty

Choice is a good choice! Lol, but seriously, it is a honest company with some hard working folks who are just simple people like myself, trying to make a living.

  • Submitted By Susan Liviani, Boise, Warranty Direct

In my experience if you are interested in Home Warranty, there are probably some better choices than Warranty Direct. Their claims policy is way too strict for anyone to actually have any benefit from it. They talk a good talk and it all looks great when you’re purchasing the agreement, but when something actually breaks, they will do everything they can to avoid responsibility and help you out with your problem.

  • Submitted By Jim O’Rourke, Lewiston,  365 Home Warranty

I have to say one thing about the contractor that 365 home warranty sent to us: he was terrific. Such a nice, polite and hard-working man, who even gave us some tips on how to make our appliances last longer and break down less, and he was very quick and efficient.

  • Submitted By Stuart Matters, Meridian, Total Home Shield

Total Home Shield should be more transparent when it comes to their plans. For instance, they should make sure we understand that the basic plan only covers one unit of AC, not the whole thing. Some older folks might not understand that and then they’ll feel tricked or scammed.
