User reviews of Connecticut home warranty companies

  • Submitted By Ned Adams, New Haven, Select Home Warranty

I am a real estate agent who regularly offers home warranty for my property, and depending on the house, sometimes I throw in some additional coverage, for example for the pool. The customers really respond to it. The prices are a bit expensive, though. There should be Still, Select Home Warranty is a good, reputable company that does honest business and I don’t plan on changing it anytime soon.

  • Submitted By Lisa Popovich, Stamford, 365 Home Warranty

I will most likely switch to another home warranty company as soon as my agreement term ends. IMO, 365 Home Warranty is a business that cuts way too many corners.

  • Submitted By Barry Lopez, Manchester, Choice Home Warranty

I made a stupid choice of going for the cheaper plan with Choice, the one that didn’t include washing machine. I thought I didn’t need it because our machine was pretty new. But then it broke down and it was just a month after the manufacturer warranty ended. So I ended up with a plan that I still had to pay and the cost of labor and parts of the repair of the washing machine. It really cost me a lot, so what Im saying is choose your plan wisely. That being said, the premium plan could definitely be cheaper. I have no idea why it’s so expensive when it only covers a few more things compared to the basic one.

  • Submitted By Gerard Humbert, Bridgeport, Total Protect

I think I found the winning formula for home warranty. I got the Combo plan from Total Protect and their most expensive deductible, that I only had to pay once anyway.
